Salvation Army's Ringing The Bells

My family has done the Salvation Army's  Ringing of the Bells since I can remember, it was one of our Christmas traditions. The Salvation Army helped my family a lot when they needed it, so my mom thought it was a good idea to return the favor. My mom would drag four kids and somehow kept us from not fighting with each other for an hour while standing in the cold with us. Once everyone left for college that changed, but I was able to bring that tradition back this year with my mom and I. I forgot to get a picture but we reminisced how we spread Christmas cheer with Christmas carols sung by children outside of a Walmart. I have very great memories doing this with my family and I was happy I got to reminisce on those memories.

Volunteering at Ringing the Bells included:

  • Ringing bells to support the Salvation Army.

  • Spread Christmas cheer.

  • Enjoy time with your family or friends that also want to ring the bells, time goes by faster this way.
