Volunteer Experience
I volunteered at the Indy Hygiene Hub in early 2025. They have two volunteer options each month. They have a day where you pack up kits and organize the warehouse and another day where you had out the kits. I found out about this organization after I did a project on them and I was moved by the work that they do. I don't have any pictures of when I helped but I found some online that help show what they do.

Volunteering at Indy Hygiene Hub included:
-
Organizing the warehouse, taking products out of boxes and putting them on the corresponding shelves.
-
Packing up different kits. I normally did the period pack kits, which included pantie liners, pads, and tampons.
-
Place labels on laundry detergent bags. There were stickers in three different languages: Burmese, Spanish, and English .
-
Work the drive-thru line. Asking people what they need and working as a team to get everyone's needs met
