Pepper's Pal Cat Rescue

I found Pepper's Pal in mid 2024. They were located very far north so I admired from afar. Then in early 2025 I saw that they moved closer to where I lived. I volunteer between once every other week to once every other month. They have a mix of cats with special needs to cats that just need snuggles. It is very fulfilling to see when some of the special needs cats come into the sanctuary in rough shape and seeing them overcoming their injuries or issues. â€‹

Volunteering at BLANK included:

  • Playing with cats

  • Doing daily cleaning tasks: cleaning floors, litter boxes, and other surfaces. In addition to doing any laundry needed for beds or blankets.

  • Changing bedding and blankets

  • Checking on the special needs cats and cleaning them up if needed (changing diapers etc.)

  • Helping set up or tear down for events

  • Writing thank you cards to donors

Rex PPs.jpg

This is my favorite boy Rex. He came into the rescue in rough shape and almost lost his tail and you could see the bone in his hind legs due to diarrhea issues. Now he has gotten a lot of his issues fixed and his skin and hair on his tail is growing back.
